@Kubernetes yes, ability to add user/password is definitely a plus
(although didn't notice or check for it in the original repo suggested)
EDIT : original repo does support a VNC password

Intrigued how linuxserver leverage the Kasm elements.
I have a Kasm VPS server - I am wondering if I can repurpose that server and just use linuxserver webtop(s)

There are plenty of use cases for Code-Server without DooD/DinD.

yes, currently used for multiple user instances on cloudron, mostly foam, some thunder, etc

As for the dev part, i solved it with hack mounting a custom external /nix into the required instances + https://devenv.sh/

nix is generally a cool architectural option for cloudron to look into imho and would love to help qualify such/the opportunity.

Given Eventbrite are now charging for free events with more than 25 people lots of people are looking for alternatives at the moment, so it'd be great to have one of these events/ ticketing solutions on Cloudron.

Here are the Docker instructions for Attendize:

@ccfu You could put it on https://elest.io/open-source/authentik if it's worth $10/month to you.

I tried snipeIT, and just couldn't get the result I wanted... and removed it again.
Currently using base to do a really simple home inventory, would like to try this.

@ovny said in rathole - NAT traversal proxy - alternative to frp, ngrok, etc:

Are you looking for a rathole per app config?

No, but it would be a useful packaged server side app one can configure per client app behind CG/NAT.

Sadly giving up (for now at least) for reasons stated in https://forum.cloudron.io/post/75671
Repo staying available in case anyone wants to take it over and fix the issues.

    Hmmm
There seems to be an issue with html encoding affecting code segments in Markdown
Doesn't invalidate usefulness of Raneto but it does perhaps limit its scope
    https://github.com/ryanlelek/Raneto/issues/381
Creation works ok : subsequent editing of the file gets screwed.

I have found that not using the built-in editor but editing and saving the content file directly gets around this.
But yes, this detracts from ease of app interface.

Maybe not ready for the app store until is fixed.

@jdaviescoates said in Firefox Send - Simple, private file sharing from the makers of Firefox:

I think lots of us are already running public instances of Jirafeau tbh. I don't get what is so different/ more dangerous about Firefox Send?

You can restrict uploads in Jirafeau - https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/jirafeau/#restricting-uploads . These things are usually only a problem only when it hits you and then it's very hard to "fix" since the service provider won't listen. For example, there have been many posts here in the past about insecure website warning from Google Chrome because of bad content hosted (by mistake) or A records pointing to some other server.
