@Neiluj very valid points! +1 for Piwigo as well.
I scoured through their documentation to see what is written about data privacy. They do say that no data is sent over in a couple of places and their intention is not to make money but provide a platform for private use, etc. The AI is also done on the device as far as I understand. You are right, I don't think the code itself is opensource though.
This app is really feature rich. However, my first preference is Photoprism as well. May be others can add their views here...

Thus far I'm using tweaked WP sites
That's what the vast majority of all eCommerce websites are: WordPress + WooCommerce.

Yeah. Stability vs Number of apps is a thing to consider. Plus, third party apps can be used.
@tracker
I would like to see this app as well. I came across this docker version of xenorchestra and believe it would make the process of making a cloudron app much easier: https://github.com/ronivay/xen-orchestra-docker
@murgero not sure but there's a bunch of changes in https://github.com/the-djmaze/snappymail#removal-of-old-javascript and also the css changes below it.
So I've been working on bringing this up to date.
Please bear in mind I'm not really a dev, but so far I've gotten it up to Meteor 2.2 (Node 12) where I'm pausing to try and replace dead dependencies. I do also want to rewrite the front end as well, very bodgy at the moment.

@jdaviescoates Thanks, I forgot to check. Please upvote on the original thread, which was made about 3 years ago.
There is a big need for distributed, self-hosted archiving services and those 3 years went by without any ArchiveBox support on Cloudron.
There is such a wealth of excellent software that could be supported here, I would love for a lot more of it to be made available.
So this app is published as unstable in the paperless-ng flavor, thanks to @doodlemania2 for the majority of the initial packaging!
The forum section for further feedback and issues is now https://forum.cloudron.io/category/137/paperless-ng so I will lock this topic.
