First question. Why?
This is out of scope and installing anyhting extra on the server is not supported by Cloudron at all.
If it works, why would you need a cloudflare tunnel?
If Owncast ran self-hosted, like the article discribed, sure why not. But when running with Cloudron, it's just not needed.@Jenova said in Owncast and Cloudflared:
Is cloudflared not compatible with Cloudrons version of Owncast or am I doing something wrong?
No Idea!
Since the article describes you need to:Add the following configuration:
tunnel: YOUR_TUNNEL_ID
credentials-file: /root/.cloudflared/YOUR_TUNNEL_ID.jsoningress:
- hostname: stream.example.com
service: http://localhost:8080 - service: http_status:404
What did you configure there?
Since you wrote:
I redacted my IP and domain name to prevent any bad actors
Let me guess, you put your public server ipv4 in the config?
- hostname: stream.example.com

Unfortunately, due to the tone of the answer I received, I decided not to look further into this. Thank you for the support.
