I’d love to see CyberChef officially supported on Cloudron!

CyberChef is an incredibly powerful, web-based tool for analyzing and transforming data — think encoding, decoding, encryption, hashing, regex, data format conversions, and much more.

The developers call it a "Cyber Swiss Army Knife" useful for developers, sysadmins, and security professionals alike, a little like IT-Tools, but way more useful to me.

I’ve already created a working Cloudron package for it and would be happy to hand it off to the Cloudron team or community to maintain and improve.

P.S. I love that it replaces so many third party utility sites where you have to upload data to untrusted sources:

    • encode/decode in Base64, URL, HTML, JWT, etc.
    • text manipulation and cleanup — convert case, trim lines, remove duplicates, extract patterns (replaces online text cleaner tools)
    • convert between and pretty-print JSON, XML, CSV, YAML — replaces format conversion or code formatter tools
    • regex testing with live results — replaces regex101 for most typical use cases
    • date and time conversion (Unix timestamp to human-readable) — no need for epoch converter websites
    • this is in addition to a lot of powerful infosec and data analysis tools

Did you forget to post the link to the package repo?

Do you know how I can stage the code on https://git.cloudron.io/playground/ for testing? Are GitLab accounts available for new contributors?

@rmpg generally if you create an account on git.cloudron and let @ staff (without space) know, they will permission you to upload your files, which they can review.
Probably fastest way even though involving a manual step from their side.

@rmpg should I sent you an invite to this forum's email ? Otherwise, if you drop a note to support@cloudron.io, we can send you an invite .

I am told registration is currently closed because there is too much spam on GitLab .
