Plan to drop postiz package from Cloudron
-
Just a heads up, new postiz versions require temporal-server which requires its own backup/restore hooks and thus would have to become a Cloudron addon. Since this is quite the obscure framework and not used by anything else on Cloudron, this is unlikely we will add this.
This does mean that postiz cannot be updated and given the issues the app had from the get-go, it is pretty clear that upstream is not really intending this to be a production ready selfhosted app. We are thus considering dropping the package.
If anyone has experience with temporal-server here and maybe more insights into how to properly handle this, we are happy to hear any input to possibly reconsider it for postiz.

From their FAQ:
Can I self host Postiz all by myself?
Definitely, we are trying to make Postiz to host as easy as possible, check our documentation to find out how -

Hi,
It looks like the package is gone from the cloudron supported apps, has anyone tried self-hosting it by following the official method as presented in their doc, with success? (https://docs.postiz.com/quickstart)
