I have followed your instructions on setting up Amazon SES as my outbound mail relay but each time I enter my credentials and press Save I get a "Response timeout" error message.

I have verified my domain and confirmed my account isn't in the Amazon sandbox.

Can you suggest anything else to try?

@scottharvey Can you please give us the logs of journalctl -fa at the time when you click save?

You can also try if you are able to telnet email-smtp.us-east-qamazonaws.com 587 on your server. Does the connection work?

@scottharvey do you still see the issue or have more information on this, like @girish asked? If not, we should probably close this thread.
