If I visit https://files.uniteddiversity.coop/Cooperatives/ I can click on Name to reorder, but there is no ordering that puts the folders in alphabetical order (whereas what I'd like is for the default ordering to be for everything to be listed alphabetically, but with Folders listed first - like it is in most file browsers - currently there seems to be no way of having both the folders first and having everything listed alphabetically)

Hm I guess it makes sense to always keep folders first even without letting this be configured and then apply the sorting on folders/files individually? Otherwise I am not sure where this should be configured and stored on such public views.

        Bump.

Just do whatever you did to do the same for File Manager?

It doesn't need to be configurable, just to function like pretty much every file manager ever functions, i.e. folders always at the top. default to in alphabetical order, then into reverse order when you click on Name column.

This order in the File Manager is correct (and currently impossible on Surfer):

Well the two projects have really nothing in common code wise, have to see how this can be done with the element ui toolkit in surfer.

If anyone knows how to do this in element, the code parts are at https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/surfer/-/blob/master/frontend/public.html#L56

Ah, I only really suggested that because @girish did elsewhere too! 🙂

I've released the new surfer version which has this fixed. The update is currently only available when checked for manually.
