Would love to see jdownloader here. It's a java based downloader with a webinterface (https://my.jdownloader.org) for all sorts of download hoster (MEGA, mediafire, etc.) and streaming services, (youtube, soundcloud, etc.) - all in all 1.528 sites supported currently. Allows to save credentials for websites.

I couldn't figure if this is a desktop app or a web app? Can't find any installation instructions either.

It’s a local app that has a web interface as well when run headless

Linux X64 installer (which links to a MEGA account) downloads just fine... ?
