Any Google Photos alternative except Nextcloud

@Captain-Kirk not yet, it's in the Cloudron's wishlist

@Captain-Kirk You can click on the link to upvote the app and raise awareness about demand around packaging this particular app.
For your usecase, I've been using Nextcloud and have not experienced problems with updates. You can also delay updates as much as you want and text updates with a clone, to make sure there's no downtime due to updates.

@ruihildt Thanks for your prompt response. Maybe I should give Nextcloud a try. One more question belonging the migration. Do I do a Google takeout and upload the pics to the NC folder or has been there any extension? What I experienced in the past is that not all pictures were sorted by date after uploading.

@nebulon Thanks, that sounds great. I will have a look at it.
Seconds ago I read again of some strange behavior of Nextcloud's photo handling: https://www.bitblokes.de/android-client-fuer-nextcloud-eine-sache-die-mich-total-nervt/ -
Piwigo has some authentication issues. We asked in their GitHub tracker but nobody replied - https://github.com/Piwigo/Piwigo/issues/1138
I think one of the most promising photo apps I have seen is https://photoprism.org/

I believe Filerun (https://www.filerun.com/) will install in a LAMP container. I really like it personally for storing and managing my photos and other media. Since I always move my photos off my iPhone manually, uploading them to my Filerun installation doesn't require the iPhone necessarily (this is because I let Apple's convoluted iCloud mess "backup" whatever photos it sees, but then I treat the photos that I manually move off the iPhone as the originals and back them up to an external drive, and upload the ones I want to be viewed to the Filerun installation, thereby making it the 3rd backup).

As i could read in the forum it has not been updated anymore. But that would a good substitute for Google Docs. But here I will investigate some time in researching in the onlyoffice suite. Maybe that fits to my needs. Thanks @scooke, every idea is welcome. My plan is degooglefy my digital presence, and I am very pampered as a current G-Suite user.
