I've got OnlyOffice installed as an app and have connected my Nextcloud to it. Everything is working fine, but when I try to mention people in comments nothing happens.

Perhaps this is another CORS issue with pulling contacts? Or a missing integration?

Another one? What's the other one? Actually, what is CORS?!?

Ah Cross-origin resource sharing. Guess it could well be related to that.

I also have this issue.

I tried to figure out what this is about, but I am not even sure how it should work. So I assume you are referring to the "review" tools where one can leave a comment. So are we supposed to be able to
@username
in the comment and something should happen? -

Issue about this in the Nextcloud app integration: https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/onlyoffice-nextcloud/issues/421
This looks like it should be possible with OnlyOffice 7.1.0 onwards.
Cloudron seems to be using 6.3.1. correction: the 7.1.0 seems to refer to the version of the Nextcloud app integration, not the version of the onyoffice software itself. -

No, this isn't about "review" or anything, it's just about mentioning people in comments in OnlyOffice docs.
Like this:
It works fine for me these days.

How can onlyoffice know the usernames ?
I guess just because users are logged into Nextcloud and it's connected to that?
Is this somehow in the WOPI protocol?
I've no idea what that is.

I'd still like to use my own OO server though.
<Edit: My cloudron OO seems to have stopped providing the editor, I just get a blank screen when I enable it now. The demo version still works if I enable it>
