I am a new Clourdon user (just installed yesterday). I am trying to get Nextcloud to run on my domains base domain rather than a sub domain on a Linode VPS.

I have installed Nextcloud three times and keep getting connection time out errors or connection refused errors. If I point the app to a sub domain everything works fine but this is not how I want my site to function. I have also installed VaultWarden to a sub domain and it works just fine while the Nextcloud (on the base domain) continues to error out. If I navigate to the IP of my server I get the following:

You are seeing this page because this domain points to Cloudron server IP but no app is installed on that domain.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Matt

@collitchboy sounds to me like there may be some existing DNS entries for you base domain that Cloudron hasn't overwritten and that's causing issues. Just a guess though.

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

@jdaviescoates I've tried hitting the sync DNS button in cloudron but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to purge DNS settings and then apply the correct ones?

@collitchboy the DNS sync will attempt to update the DNS records if you are using an automated backend. Also if an app is installed without error and labeled "Running" in the dashboard, then also the DNS is setup correctly already. In this case it is more likely the DNS caching on your PC is getting in the way here.

If you like you can send us your domain name to support@cloudron.io and we can check if it's something on your side (i.e. some browser caching issue) or if we see it as well.
