I have noticed that after a restart of the app in Cloudron or a restart of Cloudron or a reboot of the Cloudron server that the IMAP/SMTP settings are not retained within OS Ticket and I have to go back in and set them and then test to make sure they are working. Any assistance or insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

@preston-dmt are you trying to set your own STMP settings and those get reset to the Cloudron provided ones? If that is the case then this is to be expected, since Cloudron will intentionally overwrite those on app restarts.

Maybe we miss some use-case where this is not useful with osTicket?

@preston-dmt Are you trying to change the osTicket alerts address ? If so, please see https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/osticket/#admin-checklist

Also, we don't have any code in the package to overwrite IMAP settings, so I am not sure what is happening here. Can you maybe tell us how to reproduce with some screenshots?

I am not certain what might have happened but I am guessing that I was somehow mistaken about the IMAP/SMTP settings getting reset because they did not break even after a Cloudron update occurred. However, I am starting to suspect that brower autofill is responsible for what I was observing. Thanks for taking a moment to consider my issue.
