Deliverability is a problem, but it is my impression that most SMTP relays are transactional, focused on marketing and tracking.

Recommendations for a SMTP relay, that respects privacy, to simply ensure email is delivered.

@girish Thank you, this is a good option for non-transactional email, just a basic SMTP relay to solve deliverability issues for business email?

@girish This is something that makes me hesitant to use Postmark:

Postmark stores email content, events (e.g. delivery, click, open), and metadata for all messages for 45 days. After 45 days, Postmark deletes email content and related metadata for all delivered messages.

Any recommendations without the relay storing email content

@nothing after being a customer for 6 months you can ask for this feature to be disabled. I am using postmark as well and the only issue I have is the 10MB size limit when sending emails. I've talked to the support multiple times and they put it on their product map, but there's no ETA. Maybe it helps if more people ask for that 😉

I'm using Mailgun and have no issues with deliverability. According to Postmark's comparison page here, Mailgun stores email content for 3 days.

Edit: I'm on the pay-as-you-go (free) plan with no dedicated IP.
