Video and audio calls fail on homeserver

Hi all,
I have set the matrix URL for Element in Cloudron as per documentation and opened my firewall ports for 443 and 8448 even. Sadly, when I tried to call my son on a WAN connection the call connected but failed shortly after with no video or audio sent.
What else do I need to do to get this working for my home server?
