Need Help Expanding Resized Vultr Block Storage

I have a block storage volume from Vultr that is attached to my Cloudron server. This volume is used as the data directory for Next Cloud
I recently increased the size of this block storage volume through Vultr's user interface. After resizing, I remounted the volume to the server.
The volume still shows up as the original size in Cloudron & NextCloud, not reflecting the increased capacity.
Are there additional steps or commands I need to execute for Cloudron to recognize the new size of the expanded volume?
Is there a specific process or best practice when resizing volumes used by Cloudron applications, especially to avoid data loss or downtime?

I had tried that before posting, but it failed. Turns out Vultr wants you to boot from a recovery disk to resize.
Much faster (and no downtime) to just create new block storage and copy data over.
