Supabase - The open source Firebase alternative.

Supabase would also be good for any future AI things cloudron may add is that is a huge focus of theirs (vector databases). Seems this year they even fully open sourced and made their dashboard self hostable as well. Lots of steps in the right direction on their part and I think it would play incredibly with a lot here in cloudron and just overall giving everyone a good database.

Here's a link to their self-hosting with docker guide https://supabase.com/docs/guides/self-hosting/docker

Not fully familiar with SB's architecture in terms of self hosting - Want to say it has several components that make it cumbersome to package for cloudron
Is that the case? Usually there is some discourse on limitations or stop blocks
i see the references but...?

A friend of mine has just started working at supabase so I've just directed them here in the hope they can help get this packaged...

Upvoting (the main post) and commenting for engagement, even though it looks like voting for things here doesn't really seem to make a difference.
@umnz important to upvote so thanks.
Also important to remember that packaging can be complex. So takes time. I’ve looked at packaging Supabase a couple of times and it’s definitely in the “non-trivial” category.
For myself, and maybe for lots of others, Parse is as good as supabase for 80-90% of needs, and is easier to package. Maybe will release my package for Parse Server this weekend
