Monitor incoming port 25
-
Hi all,
I have recently migrated servers to another provider.
I only realised that Port 25 is blocked both outgoing and incoming at this provider after 24 hours of not receiving email.
(I tested email by sending between two email addresses that are both hosted on the same server; d'oh)I was wondering if there's a way for Cloudron to monitor incoming port 25 in addition to the checks that are done on the /email page [https://imgur.com/a/Q4aGm3u] ?
Thank you!

@threetrees3 there's no reliable way from inside a server to check if incoming connections are working. Someone has to initiate a connection from outside the server.... An idea is to use some external monitoring service to connect to port 25 periodically (or another Cloudron instance with uptime kuma).

@girish
Thanks, that makes sense. Have setup external monitoring for port 25. Appreciate the speedy response as always.
