I'm using Linode and it appears they only provide Cloudron on Ubuntu 20.04, and therefore they only provide NextCloud 27. I want to upgrade to NC 28 or 29 and Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04. Is there a way to do this, or is this a Linode question?

EDIT: It looks like Akamai/Linode does support 22.04 now. My question then is do I upgrade Ubuntu, then log in to Cloudron and upgrade it?

@overholt The NC version on Cloudron is not related to the Ubuntu version. You don't need to upgrade Ubuntu to get latest nextcloud.

I suspect your Cloudron is stuck in some old version though. Which version of Cloudron are you on? This is listed in the Settings page. The current version of Cloudron is 7.7.2

We weren't aware that Linode was providing Cloudron via their Marketplace. Great to hear 🙂
