Setting to set the default volume for apps to be installed

Apologies if I'm out of the loop on this.

Can I request consideration for a setting to set the default Volume for new apps to be installed to, please?

Bonus points, a volume dropdown when installing new apps, to then override the default volume, if desired.

Reason is VPS diskspace is very expensive compared to attached volumes, and tied to the VPS pricing tier.

We need a lot more storage than we do cores and memory. Otherwise, we're just incurring unnecessary costs for unused resources, and underutilising the cheaper available volume resources unless remembering to later moving the app data to it — also an additional time cost and thing to remember.

IDK about a setting, but you can mount an external volume where cloudron stores it's volume data and then install cloudron? This probably wont work for existing installs or will be infinitely more complicated

@murgero Thanks, yeah, definitely not doing that now Just looking for the simplest solutions with what we already have.

Since the functionality is already there, this is more of an workflow interface feature to just make it available at an earlier stage in the process, and to avoid the additional step and decisions later to do the exact same.
