      Hey,

I noteiced that after updating Rallly to v3.0 the pro features are missing. According to the developer, they should be available with the self hosted version. He stated, that cloudron might use an older package?

      Can you confirm that, @nebulon?

      best
      David

I had never noticed any pro anything before, but I note that now I see this stuff, which seems confusing on a self-hosted instance:

I also just spotted this in the Cloudron changelog:

          Changelog:
          Update Rallly to 3.0.0
          Full changelog
The AUTHREQUIRED parameter has been removed. As of version 3, users must be logged in to create and manage polls. To further avoid use of your instance by unauthorized users, you are encouraged to use the ALLOWEDEMAILS parameter to limit who can register and login on your instance.
          Poll finalization
Custom poll settings (hide participant list, hide scores, disable comments)
          Poll duplication

          (emphasis added)

So now I'm wondering how we do that?

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

This also plays into the fact that we have not set the selfhosted environment variable in the past. This comes with the next package update.

Hi @nebulon, isn't Clouldron running the image from Docker Hub? This has the environment configured for self-hosting during build time. At least that is the expected behavior.

@lukevella No, cloudron is generally using their own docker images so have more control over the environment.

This should be solved with latest package update
