So, I notice my Nextcloud is acting slow. I look at the logs, can't see anything. I come back the next day and my Cloudron dashboard won't load, Chrome says my cert s bad. So I cleck on the now-red section in the address bar, and this my cert is now Issued To: Common Name : shafeehaque.com.

Crap. What is this? Has my Cloudron been hacked somehow?

You won't believe it. Namecheap didn't auto-renew the domain. Fortunately it was in the Grace period, and I could reactivate it. What they don't appreciate is that this is the final straw and I will be moving the last of my domains from them. In fact, I moved about 6 away from them this year, and tried with this one about 3 months ago, but it failed for some reason. It's easy to think this is some kind of retribution. Well, I'm out of there as soon as I can.

Glad it's a simple solution, sorry you had the grief.

What got me worried is if you google that domain it is involved in a weird "calendar subscription" hack of some kind,

Gandi recently got sold, but so far I'm still happily with them (and they sell .coop domains which lots of other places don't seem to)

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner
