Setting a vacation message works, and is easy enough, however the part where you specify an end date & time seems to be ignored and vacation messages keep being sent past this time until you turn off the auto-reply.

Good question, we probably need SOGo active users here to answer this or ask upstream.

I've read the upstream mailing list, apparently its not intended to work the most obvious way presented to end users.
        https://bugs.sogo.nu/view.php?id=5537

Im not sure if this is relevant given its over 10 years old
        https://www.mail-archive.com/users@sogo.nu/msg13925.html
Also, some have complained turning on autoreply turns off sieve filters and the users inbox gets all the spam they normally filter. I mean thats a hilarious failing, if ever I saw one.

The autoreply thing is only needed if date/relational caps are missing in sieve (per https://www.sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGoInstallationGuide.html#_sogo_tool_update_autoreply) . The default sieve caps in Cloudron has those already:

"SIEVE" "fileinto reject envelope encoded-character vacation subaddress comparator-i;ascii-numeric relational regex imap4flags copy include variables body enotify environment mailbox date index ihave duplicate mime foreverypart extracttext vacation-seconds editheader"

How can I reproduce this? Works as expected for me. Between 3.30pm and 4.00pm yesterday, I got vacation mails. After that, it stops sending vacation emails. Note that I had to set the timezone in my profile (Preferences -> General).

Hmm, not sure. After telling the user Just "turn it off manually" they told me its worked every other time, the way they thought it would.
I'll wait until they use it again.

Does that bottom row of "Enable autoreply on these days" overwrite the schedule ?

Good question, your guess is as good as mine 🙂
