I can’t remember ever had this before but when I impersonate a user as Admin and login to Cloudron as such, the impersonated user receives an email with “new location” and my location.

Is this as designed? It’s very confusing for users, so I prefer not to sent this.

@nebulon why is this moved? It has never sent out these kind of mails while impersonating

ah ok, since nothing has changed in latest releases around this, I assumed this is like a new feature.

Will move it back, sorry for the confusion

@nebulon This issue is still there: If you impersonate a user and login to my. nothing happens, but if you login as impersonated user to let's say Nextcloud then the impersonated user receives a "new location" email!

Therefore this functionality is currently still not usable as it confuses the impersonated user extremely.

(I currently need it to login to Nextcloud because there are still old-LDAP users not logged in as OIDC user and so the migration is not finished)

I've also had users get confused by this. I think I was trying to onboard them to Loomio or something and testing how that'd work but they got confusing emails as @imc67 described.

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner
