    • https://help.nextcloud.com/t/removing-default-files-and-folders/21778

    It would be very handy to have a directory visible in the Nextcloud app file explorer to manage the default files & folders for new users.

    The default files and folders out-of-the-box can be a bit confusing for new users, and makes somewhat of a mess of user management where this cruft then clutters the initial and ongoing setup per user.

    For organised organisations, we would prefer to set these default files and folders ourselves.

    The Cloudron app file manager would be the perfect place to manage this, save from everyone messing about with the CLI for the app, and potentially making mistakes.

    The above support thread from Nextcloud's support forum explains how to do this.

    Paging @girish and @nebulon for consideration in further ease of use and admin for this Cloudron Nextcloud app.

      Agreed, this was a major pain when creating 100s of users then having to clean up all this cruft. The space saved was significant too.

          @joseph Ahh, yes. Pretty much that.

          I guess you could just do the first part of that by default in the app package, and then add the config instructions into the First Install instructions and tasks as a way to highlight that this is possible.

            @joseph The instructions should probably add a comma at the end of the line recommended to add, as my hurried brain missed that on the first try:

            'skeletondirectory' => '/app/data/skeleton',
