Umami not responding

This looks very much like the app might restart out-of-memory. Do you see any oom notifications about that in Cloudron or the system? Maybe try to increase the memory limit?

FYI, I had 2GB assigned to Umami with this error.

So changing it to 8GB (just to make sure), it did solve the update problem. But it feels weird to have to have more than 2GB to be able to update Umami.

I'll let this test update app running to see if any memory leaks are detected.

Yeah umami is a nextjs app, those need a lot of memory as a baseline unfortunately

same issue here. Moving to 8gb worked. subsequently resizing back to 2gb or 4gb does not work.

8gb is pretty big!

The 8 GB are not always used, there are just allowed to be used.

@James fair point .... but still stupid IMHO. Especially as it worked perfectly well in 3Gb until recent updates. Not much time to research an alternative just now so will live with it. Simply because I'm lucky enough to have 128Gb RAM on my Cloudron VPS .... but I didn't spec it that way to be wasted on Umami.

Had the same issue — Umami stuck on "Not responding" with build-app exiting with code 137 during next build --turbo.

Fix: temporarily bump RAM to 8 GB for the first start, let the build complete, then reduce. In my case 3 GB is the minimum stable amount for ongoing operation — 2.5 GB still crashes.

Hope this saves someone some time. Would be great if the package could ship with a pre-compiled build to avoid this entirely.
