My host allows access to ssh to install user-level apps on CentOS 7.

Would that work for a Cloudron install?

Cloudron only supports Ubuntu 18.04 (x64) server at the moment so no, this should not be possible. I imagine it's because Cloudron takes over control of the system and updates. This would be more complicated if multiple OS are supported. For the future, Debian 10 and CentoOS support would be desirable but not urgently needed.

@vjvanjungg as @subven already mentioned, Cloudron only supports Ubuntu 18.04.
There are no plans currently to support any other Linux distribution as we don't really see any real benefit compared to the increased test burden and thus potential bugs with a larger variety of supported distros.
