Kirby is the content management system that adapts to your projects like no other

It is not free to use but requires a license, obtainable at https://getkirby.com/buy

@nebulon Looks like you can try it privately at least, users can test it before deploying on Cloudron maybe? IDK how that would be affected by Kirby's licensing model though.

From what I can gather, this just means that eventually the user would have to submit some license key to the Kirby instance.

I just upvoted this because I use Kirby 3 for a project of mine.

Regarding requiring a license: As far as I know you can develop local, do some personal/private local page and try out the CMS as long as you don't publish it public. Additionally, the Kirby team does provide free licenses in case your page/project belongs to some specific context, e. g. is beneficial to the public/society.

See the FAQ for details: https://getkirby.com/buy

Not sure whether and how this applies in the upcoming Kirby 4 release.

@nebulon @girish is there any chance to sponsor this application to get it running on Cloudron?

@jayonrails If you haven't already, I suggest trying to install Kirby on a basic LAMP container in Cloudron. It is a file-based CMS so you need very little expertise to get it running, just a spot to paste their files. It's perhaps the easiest CMS I've ever used from an installation standpoint. I'm not sure the immutable nature of a Cloudron app is very compatible with this kind of CMS (Update: I forgot Grav is in the repo, which is file-based as well, so maybe I'm wrong here). You may actually prefer the simplicity of a LAMP install. Just my $0.02. Good luck!

Can you have product variations? I didn’t see any in the demo.
