Essentially this would allow one to run and host their own Firefox Authentication and Sync server (Sync Bookmarks, passwords, history, etc from the browser to a self-hosted server)

    Links:

Would anyone be interested in using such an app?

@murgero given it's already the 9th most wanted I'd say the answer is yes! 😛

What's the difference between that app request and this?

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

Just wanted to know if this has any progress 🙂
As soon as I am somewhat familiar with Docker i could try myself. But this still will take some time. Maybe someone want to teach me? 🙂

@timbo We have been having a couple of meetups already to help with Cloudron packaging. One by @doodlemania2 and another by @thetomester13 . You can follow this thread - https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/4214/app-packaging-event . We will probably have another one soonish.

@doodlemania2 I think Firefox Relay is separate from the main sync server

@mehdi yeah, but Relay seems to require it, so if you packaged this thingy, we might could then package relay!

@doodlemania2 I don't know if Cloudron is currently capable of having an app receive emails from multiple different email addresses, i don't think it is. So Relay would not be packageable for cloudron as-is

Now there is a Firefox View that can send tabs to other devices and recover tabs from history, etc.

Looks like this project in Python makes it easier and is already dockerized:
