      hello

      now it seems there is a complete matrix stack

      is it possible to let matrix user register from matrix clients ?

      in the past we had to select this option
      Leave user management to the app

        @xavierl Currently, the package only supports only LDAP but can look into supporting non-Cloudron user management. Should be straight forward.

            i have seen that most applications in cloudron offers the option for user management from the app directly.

            that would be nice when this is done

            thank you for creating the issue

              @xavierl I tried adding this feature the other day but got blocked by a crash inside synapse -https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/matrix-synapse-app/-/issues/1#note_10600

                Hello

                for some cloudron app installations, it is possible to select :
                let the application manage users.

                Is it complicated to just let the application manage users on its own ?

                in case you want to use LDAP
                or is it possible to give matrix the right to register new users to LDAP ?

                  @xavierl We are still working on the "let the application manage users" option for synapse. Usually it's not complicated but in this case synapse is crashing for some reason. See https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/matrix-synapse-app/-/issues/1#note_10600

                    @xavierl I have pushed a new version of synapse that allows matrix to manage it's own users. If you re-install synapse, you will see this option.
