Redis - can it be disabled?
-
I'm using the Unmanaged WordPress app for a dozen or so sites, and I've removed the redis plugin from them as I have no use for redis in my sites, but I see that redis is still taking up memory on my system. Is there a way for that to be disabled?

Currently, they cannot be disabled/stopped. I guess we need something like "optional addons" which we currently lack. Similar to how LDAP gets optionally integrated into an app.

@d19dotca did you ever find a way to disable redis for your managed WordPress apps? We have over 50 sites and not a single one uses Redis, however they still consume memory...
