Sleeky plugin

Has anyone had any luck with the Sleeky backend code? It doesn't seem to be working for me although a few things do change. Namely, the background color disappears and the nav links disappear.

@CaptainCalliope I think you need to install the sleeky-frontend as well . This is not a plugin but it actually adds code to the app which is not possible on Cloudron because the apps are readonly. I guess we have to make a custom package .

Installing the front-end didn't work too well for me either. It just turned the public page blue. I'm not sure if I put the front-end in the right place because it seemed like it might need to go in a folder inaccessible from within the cloudron file manager. Soooooooo.. yeah.
Would a custom package be like a separate cloudron app with these already installed?

@CaptainCalliope Correct, a new package will have these pre-installed. FWIW, https://github.com/Flynntes/Sleeky/issues/56 also reports some frontend issues. It seems upstream is not maintaining it anymore from what I can make out.

@derin The sleeky plugin is not really a plugin as such. For all practical purposes, it's like a "fork" of yourls because it comes with it's own frontend and backend. This means that one has to create a separate app called "Sleeky" and we cannot modify the current Yourls app to have sleeky theme/plugin installable.
I shouldn't have said "pre-installed". What I meant is we need to make a new app package called 'Sleeky'. That said, from what I can tell after the initial announcement, Sleeky development is all but stopped.

Maybe there's merit in Upvoting Shlink or Kutt as an alternative:
