Hi @girish I was wondering when the (un)managed WP apps are upgraded to PHP7.4?

WP is already for a long time "complaining" (site diagnose) that 7.3 is outdated and should be upgraded to 7.4.

I know but that topic is closed alas, so I had to create a new topic to get this attention 😉

@imc67 yeah, I'm not sure I'm liking this new auto locking things after 30 days malarkey - seems to mostly just be leading to duplicate content.

@girish @nebulon - what was the reason for auto-locking posts after 30 days? Seems mostly to have made the forum worse/ less useful. Is it also helping you two in some way I'm unaware of?

I note the 7.3 is still supported https://www.php.net/supported-versions.php and I think one reason why lots of people still on 7.3 is that Debian isn't yet on 7.4 (at least that is the reason given to my by one of my other hosts some of my clients use).

@jdaviescoates Agreed! There's plenty of times I find an older thread I can add new value to.

@jdaviescoates This feature was disabled soon after being activated in the forum.
                It was causing login issues..

@imc67 It's in the works. I am currently working on WP updates to make it more performant. I will update PHP after that. Looks like it's also time to create a LAMP PHP 7.4 stack.

Pushed an update now to PHP 7.4. It will roll out slowly.
