I have a Matrix / Element install up and running, but it can't seem to connect to the integration manager. Ideas, or settings to check? I did some searching but can't figure out what needs to be changed.

Not actually sure what the "integration manager" is. Did you install some bridges or synapse plugins?

@nebulon Nope, this is out of the box - Element has Stickers you can install that require the integration manager, and stuff like rich twitter/facebook embeds also requires it I think. This message appears after clicking the Stickers button and then Add Stickers in element.

Hm I was trying to reproduce this now, but I was able to add sticker sets on our element instance. Is it possible that maybe some browser addon blocks request to the integration manager?

Looking at the network inspector reveals that the element ui tries to fetch resources from scalar.vector.im and matrix.org

@ianhyzy Try going through step 2 here: https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/synapse/

              That worked for me.

Yeah, I took another look at this and think delegation is messed up. I had changed the URL of matrix shortly after installing, let me try a fresh install.

Weird, I tried with a fresh install and I got the same error.

Since this is happening inside the browser, could it possibly be that you have some adblocker or so installed, which may block requests to other origins?

@nebulon I fixed this, unfortunately I don't remember what did it. I think it was a config/dns issue

IIRC, the fix to this was to get federation working properly. https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/synapse/#step-3-federation
