What is the ideal option for adding additional storage to my cloudron instance?

Increase the storage capacity of my Cloudron server or add external storage on a per app basic, for example the add external storage to Nextcloud.

    Thank you in advance!

@moonshot You can set the storage to an external disk at a per app level - https://docs.cloudron.io/storage/#app-data-directory . So, just mount an external disk and then provide a path to custom data directory in Resources section - /mnt/external_disk/myappname, for example. You can of course use the same external disk for another app as well by putting it in another subdirectory.

Now, some apps have a concept of external storage (like nextcloud). Or maybe media apps like Emby/Jellyfin can scan additional folders. We don't support this yet but it's being implemented for Cloudron 6. See the last bullet point in https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/3205/what-s-coming-in-6-0-take-2 .
