For the life of me, I can't figure how to get my Android to use AdGuard. On the phone, DNS -> Private DNS -> Select Private DNS Mode. It's not clear what it wants in Private DNS provider hostname. Entering an IP does not work (wants a hostname). And since my Cloudron is in the home network, not sure what I can enter here. Maybe it requires some public DNS server and DoH. Any ideas?

I imagine its similar to iOS where it just wants your servers IP Address.

@atrilahiji Atleast on Android, I cannot find a way to set the DNS server by IP! The above is the only UI I can find and it's by name.

@girish Maybe try the hostname for your AdGuard Instance.

There's a few ways to do this.

              1. use the DNS changer apps (usually for adblocking), free on FDroid. DNS99 might be the name of one.

              2. xip.io - 10.0.0.1.xip.io resolves to 10.0.0.1
