    I was under the impression I could login with my Cloudron user/pw but it says domain not allowed. Tried a fake email that uses the my.domain.com cloudron URL and same issue. Enabled admin mode, and only gmail, yahoo, outlook and qq are on the Domains list--I added an alias for the domain that my main cloudron admin account uses, and authentication fails--what gives? Should my user/pw be something else?

    Cloudron docs say I can use user@example1.com but I don't know how to find the 'user' name and 'example1.com' isn't allowed.

    I feel like I am clearly missing something, so I appreciate a point in the right direction

    Have you tried to use the email address for which you want to see the mailbox? Email clients would use the email address and not the Cloudron username as such, since a Cloudron user may have many mailboxes.

    @jordanurbs the username is the emailaddress (not an alias) you've set up in the email settings for your domain and the password is the one from the account you've linked to that address.

    @msbt @nebulon

    What is the default email address to use? I've used a handful, none of them work.. not to mention, if it isn't the cloudron password what password would it be? Cloudron never asked me to configure anything.

    EDIT: Figured it out, I never realized it was required to set-up a new mailbox via cloudron first. It might be helpful for others if in the Rainloop Cloudron docs it mentioned that this is a prerequisite: https://docs.cloudron.io/email/
