I pushed a MR to add Redis support but there appears to be no easy way to automate this process. I will do some digging into how my workplace hosting team handles this process but incase its not doable, does anyone object to the addon being enabled and this being documented away for those who want to use it?

@atrilahiji That sounds like a good approach; we do similar things in other apps for unnecessarily obtuse LDAP setups, for example.

@atrilahiji can't the redis settings be injected somehow in the database using SQL?

@girish I am exploring that angle too but will just add to my existing PR. Waiting to hear back from our hosting team to see if they do anything differently.
