Is it possible to set an ignore list for files/directories that Cloudron backup would skip?

@shai The only thing I think would even be close to this is you can go into an apps settings in cloudron and disable the backups for the app.

@shai Not sure what your "use case" is, but I understand the problem.
I have Nextcloud instance in my Cloudron with a LOT of shared files, ~100Gb, and it makes the cloudron backup process fall.

Real issue is that it makes backups for all other apps fail also.

So as @murgero says, I have had to turn off Nextcloud backup for now, relying on the fact that files also exist on client devices.

It might be nice to set different backup times for different apps, so e.g. backup can be done at 1am for all other apps and allow those to succeed, and then attempt backup at 2am for Nextcloud, so if it fails, it doesn't compromise other backups.

    Just thinking out loud

I don't think this helps the OP, but wanted to say... @timconsidine I'm not super familiar with Nextcloud as I don't use that app, but I think the Cloudron "Volumes" feature can be mounted into Nextcloud, right? Volumes are not backed up by Cloudron, so perhaps moving some of your data to an external Volume in Cloudron may help there.

@d19dotca Yes, I think you're right, thank you.
I need to look into that.
Or move some long term storage files ("archive") into Minio.
That might just be moving the problem, but dividing the problem might be a partial solution.
