    Hello,
There seems to be a problem with the XenForo-bridge. It is reported on the RSS Bridge github (Xenforo github:issue), but when I try to revert to the older code revision to see if that fixes the issue (this bridge worked a few weeks ago, but it's apparently struggling now after the previous RSS Bridge update) using the Terminal, I get an error message in Pico (which I wanted to use to edit the file):

    "File 'XenForoBridge.php' is unwritable"

Is there any way for me to try reverting back to the old version of this bridge (and, indeed, installing or updating other bridges) myself, or do I have to wait for the maintainer to test, and if necessary, implement this change?

    Thanks!

@odie If you have an old backup, you can just restore to the old backup and disable automatic updates. If you just want to install old version of the app package, then go to appstore, click the RSS Bridge and change the version field in the URL bar. The RSS Bridge version to package version mapping can be found here - https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/rss-bridge-app/-/blob/master/CHANGELOG . It looks like package version 1.1.0 is what you want (for the older release).

@girish Thanks Girish, I tried rolling back but that didn't fix the problem with this bridge (the maintainer has supposedly been inactive on Github for a long time)
        .
I seem to recall that in earlier versions of this, it was possible to upload and change bridges yourself. But that may have when I had to run it in a Lamp.

Anyway, I don't have the skills to update this plugin myself, so I guess I have to live with a broken bridge.

Reopening this. I suggested this in the community app topic here. @robi suggested this may now be possible to address.

            My suggestion was this:

I'd love to see RSSBridge packaged in a way that you could update individual bridges directly from their repo. The official Cloudron app has the bridges in a read only folder. Lots of bridges are updated constantly, while the main app seems to be working without much problems. So as a consequence we don't get the fixed bridges on Cloudron, leading to more and more broken bridges, but with the app itself working as it should.
