A major upgrade to moodle is coming up - https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_4.0_release_notes . Particularly, lots of UX improvements - https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_4.0_release_notes#Major_UX_improvements

@girish It might have a good UI finally!

Honestly working in an educational institution the number of support issues we had just due to the dated UI was insane. Looking forward to this

@atridad that's partly why I'd really like Canvas on Cloudron too.
Hopefully Moodle 4.0 will be a big improvement...

I had a quick look at some of the pics/ video and it does look rather like how I remember Canvas looking now in terms of course navigation and stuff.

@girish Oh yeah I imagine a major release like this is going to cause problems

OK, I found the issue.
Warning: require_once(/app/data/moodle/lib/boxlib.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /app/data/moodle/repository/boxnet/lib.php on line 26 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/app/data/moodle/lib/boxlib.php' (include_path='/app/data/moodle/lib/pear:.:/usr/share/php') in /app/data/moodle/repository/boxnet/lib.php on line 26This boxnet plugin has disappeared in the new release. Need to figure a cleverer way of copying over the relevant plugins in moodle.
