NodeBB version 3 and Harmony theme
-
We have moved this forum to NodeBB version 3 today and the current upstream default is the Harmony theme. To avoid less ongoing side-effects I have activated that now. So it might all feel a bit strange, I hope it will serve us well though and please report any issue you encounter with it.

Oh wow, they basically made it look like Discourse then
Dark looks a bit naff to me with the very low contrast icons and text definitely not accessible colours.
-
Seem easier to mark posts as Solved now, without having to change them to questions
(unless someone changed this to a question, then I'm talking nonsense, either way, getting used to it)
-
One annoying thing about the new theme is there are no breadcrumbs/ nothing to indicate where you are, e.g. there is nothing here to indicate which app this thread is about?

for app categories we use icons and a white background, the theme renders it invisible
Aha. Allow me to suggest you change that then
Thanks!

yeah, it's just about 150 app categories to manually go through and change the background color...

Ah, how frustrating.

why not add this as custom css instead? that should do the trick:
.topic-info .badge { color: #000 !important; }
Was just about to suggest perhaps doing it with CSS too

@jdaviescoates yes, agree, breadcrumb is quite matter for easier navigation, we should go back to category if we want to go back to previous topic at the exact screen location
