    The backup has failed, and it hangs at Snipe-IT for a long time. I have around 7000+ lines of the same message in the log.

    2023-06-26T02:04:36.874Z box:tasks update 8354: {"percent":55.05405405405404,"message":"Uploading backup 38M@0MBps (snipe-it.domain.com)"}

    This is the Cron message for the backup.
    {
    "taskId": "8354",
    "errorMessage": "Task 8354 timed out",
    "timedOut": true,
    "backupId": null
    }
    Services / Disk Page

    I have been experiencing this issue for some time now. Any help would be appreciated.!

    Seems like the upload process stalled. Which backup storage provider are you using?

    @nebulon It is Backblaze.

    I have seen it stuck at Snipe-It only. The next backup per schedule was successful. And this failure happens few times a week.
    I have like 5 to 6 backups scheduled for a day. Is it too much? Thank you!

    If it is too much depends very much on your use-case and how often you want to have restore points if something goes wrong. Since backups are also made prior to updates, this does seem quite a lot though.

    IMHO Yes 🙂 Why so many? I'd check the apps themselves, like Nextcloud, that keep versions of files to restore.

    I also am dimly aware of a rate limit with Backblaze and costs for requests. That's for B2. Speeds are also limited, so it may start failing as you could end up with backups overlapping perhaps?

    Thank you, @3246 @nebulon - Probably I will reduce it to two per day and see how it goes.
    @3246 - I didn't know about B2's rate limit.
