This may be slightly outside the expected use of the file manager in Cloudron, but I wanted to report it anyway.

When using the file manager in Cloudron 7.5 to edit a file, the URL bar looks something like this: https://my.demo.cloudron.io/filemanager/#/viewer/app/4c90a08b-854d-4413-bf2f-4987009dda66/app.ini. As this url includes the app id and the path to the file, it can be bookmarked and used later to return directly to that file. The problem is that if you now follow the link above and then click Close, instead of taking the user back to the folder listing, it only clears the editor, potentially leading the user to think that the file is now empty, as the browser still shows app.ini as the file name.

Thanks for the report. I can reproduce this easily. Currently, it relies on the history, which will of course not work when launching into the editor directly 😕

Thanks! I did not expect such a quick fix after your first response, but the change looks sensible.
