There is a related forum post at https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/9856/mods-do-not-work/4

I have never tried this myself, but I copied the post-installation info for that into the docs at https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/valheim/#mod-support

Maybe @BrutalBirdie can confirm if this is still the correct approach.

The written doc is still correct. 👍

On the topic let me add a note, some mods only come with a dll file which then creates the config on first startup.
This config will be created in /run/vhserver-steam/BepInEx/config/ and can or should be copied to /app/data/mods/BepInEx/config/ so it stays persistent.

Do we DL and then upload the BEPINEX mod to the valheim directory folder?

Ok, Im not sure why but I had to uninstall Valheim and then reinstall valheim

Once I did I re-enabled modsupport then imported the .CFGs and .dlls and now its working
              Thanks!
