APP cannot login with OIDC -
APP cannot login with OIDChi,
since the latest, update a few days ago to 7.6.1, the mobile newsreader app cannot login to the TTRSS host any longer.
following the hint in the announcment post, I tried to create an app-password to no avail.
TTRSS is not offered in the APP-PW selection dropdown.APP: TinyTinyRSS

wrong TXT-DNS entries in seondary mail-domain@girish
opps, my last post was never published…anycast.me is their geoloaction-aware DNS system.
I opened a ticket with them and after manual pushing DNS updates after disabling DNSSEC (temporarily), it worked and propagated the right entries.
there are still some false positves on spamhouse, but it's working.
Thanks for your support.
-
wrong TXT-DNS entries in seondary mail-domain@scooke thanks for reply. to answer your questions:
Also, some more info might help. Are these both new, fresh installations on Ubuntu 22 servers? Or have you upgraded them recently?
since OVH-DNS is manual, and I din't change anything for the secondary domain for months, suggesting that some changes within CLDR causing that. any hints?
what both installations? one server, one 1 ip, and 2 domains (actually, their is another one, which is more ore less just parked). same setup since years.
as I stated, nothing was changed in the last months/from the time it still worked. the installation is a couple of years old, upgraded to 22.04.mail is working.
and that the cert is expired is a problem which probably has it's cause in the described situation.
the renew of certificates show an error:
Sep 08 19:50:42box:cert/acme2 waitForChallenge: status is "invalid" "{"type":"http-01","status":"invalid","error":{"type":"urn:ietf:params:acme:error:dns","detail":"DNS problem: looking up A for git.eb8sys.top: DNSSEC: DNSKEY Missing; DNS problem: looking up AAAA for git.eb8sys.top: DNSSEC: DNSKEY Missing","status":400},"url":"https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/chall-v3/262522782736/VWqWnQ","token":"y1q3lTpNjGlrb31X3_iO_-hbwceZmDpj7E0vUQUNH0Q","validated":"2023-09-08T12:45:46Z"}"
which seems to be a pbl. with the chain of trust. how to fix that?@girish I did restart unbound already when I went trough the troubleshooting guide, before I opened this post.
I restarted it again and no curiosities/errors in the log.host -t TXT eb8sys.top 8.8.8.8 Using domain server: Name: 8.8.8.8 Address: 8.8.8.8#53 Aliases: Host eb8sys.top not found: 2(SERVFAIL)
host -t MX eb8sys.top 8.8.8.8 Using domain server: Name: 8.8.8.8 Address: 8.8.8.8#53 Aliases: Host eb8sys.top not found: 2(SERVFAIL)
host -t TXT cloudron._domainkey.eb8sys.top 8.8.8.8 Using domain server: Name: 8.8.8.8 Address: 8.8.8.8#53 Aliases: Host cloudron._domainkey.eb8sys.top not found: 2(SERVFAIL)
FWIW, every now and then my own Cloudron dashboard will be red, even though everything is working.
this and the fluctuating outbound & blocklist checks are really annoying in the sense of usefullness of a check, when it creates so much false positivs. I'd rather be not informed then falsy. but that's another minor thing.
-
Add support for OVH DNS via their API@girish yeah, these things happen. for me it's oracle-cloud. they just don't let me in…
since OVH is developing it's website fast, maybe you can give it another try, or if that fails, I can check with support (which got hard to grasp from outside, meanwhile). -
wrong TXT-DNS entries in seondary mail-domainCLDRN runs on one server IP with 2 domains with email, on SSDnode.
the main domain eb8.org is all green - mostly. since blocklist and outbound SMTP checks are fluctuating.
the secondary domain shows all red since a few weeks.now, having time to dig deeper: in the secondary domain, eb8sys.top:
- the TXT records use the main domain.
- the TXT-records are set, but not found, as is the i.e. cloudron._domainkey
since OVH-DNS is manual, and I din't change anything for the secondary domain for months, suggesting that some changes within CLDR causing that. any hints?
secondary domain
main domain
mostly outbound checks are fails.
Blocklist is a bit stickier, but also toggles within minutes. for both domains.here the relevant DNS entry for the secondary domain, eb8sys.top

Add support for OVH DNS via their API+1
IMHO, since there is the ovh logo as advertising in Cloudron can be installed just about anywhere
on the website, one could imagine that CLDRN also supports easy setup by using their DNS-API ? -
Nextcloud error after update to 27.0.1remarkable behavior:
login via web does not work at the moment.
open the website via the nextcloud-desktop client does work and one is logged in.
but then, password-verification i.e. for module-update does again not work.@nebulon your hint with the incompatible apps was true both problems.
- the login problem. which went away after deleting
dropit
- and the cron pbl. as well, after disabling
Reader (ebook reader)
- and there was a recommended app, which also threw errors: `group-folders'
I leave it here for reference
thanks again
- the login problem. which went away after deleting
-
Nextcloud error after update to 27.0.1my cloudron does have the same sympthoms.
after login it showed this (sry, only in german):
which gives a unspecified "Internal server error"Nextcloud Interner Serverfehler Der Server konnte die Anfrage nicht fertig stellen. Sollte dies erneut auftreten, sende bitte die nachfolgenden technischen Einzelheiten an deinen Server-Administrator. Weitere Details können im Server-Protokoll gefunden werden. Technische Details Entfernte Adresse: 51.79.xxx.xxx Anfragekennung: DAgwHLC5EPUbt1qC2eLE
I did:
- restart the app
- checked and raised mem for the container to 2.46G
- checked ps, nothing special
- raised
"MaxRequestWorkers"
to 50 as mentioned here - onlyoffice document server is responding
Since I only realised the error after the latest app-update, I went backt to cldr.-nc. v4.17.3 without change.
- NC-desktop is working.
- weblogin does not work
CLDRN is direct attached to Internet - same setup since years.

ERR: invalid Kimai minimum version@nebulon, according to the author, @kevinpapst, the plugin is no longer needed and as a left over within the cloudron installation causing problems.
I moved it out of the way and everything is back to normal.
cd /home/yellowtent/appsdata/<UUID</data/plugins mv RecalculateRatesBundle .RecalculateRatesBundle or rm -rf RecalculateRatesBundle
-
ERR: invalid Kimai minimum versionI opend the ticket 3978 yesterday.
I also went back to a 2 week old 2.0.4 backup, which throws the same error?
-
ERR: invalid Kimai minimum version@nebulon there is nothing upstream, yet.
I'll gona open an ticket.
which version of kimai was the last stable (b4 the update-spree?)
and it had been updated to version... ? -
ERR: invalid Kimai minimum versionhello,
since the latest update-spree, my Kimai is not responding any longer.
that happen with the first update already (a few days ago), and keeps up to the latest 2.0.10/2.0.14.the logs show:
Bundle "RecalculateRatesBundle" defines an invalid Kimai minimum version in extra.kimai.require. Please provide an integer as in Constants::VERSION_ID

Cloudron and TOR - Running a .onion or i2p eepsite with Cloudron?@LoudLemur
thanks for bringing that up. yes tor is badly missing.
additional I suggest the yggdrasil-network (w/wo tor). Even so, they write it's early stages, many of us use it as self-healing ipv6 VPN-style network, which just works. -
PostgreSQL issues@girish
ok, thanks I will open a ticket with them for a MySQL issue with pixeldroid. -
PostgreSQL issuesI did a bit more research on pixeldroid not able to login, @scooke has mentioned here. the YunoHost community found out, that's another PostgreSQL related bug.
It looks like there are incompatibles piling up for the use of postgreSQL. see here.
the good news:
PF supports LDAP now out of the box, but no new version has been released yet. -
NC update to 4.12.1 fails@nebulon said in NC update to 4.12.1 failes:
To get back up quickly until a fix is there, you can restore to the backup made prior to the update.
that would have been my first choice, but the backup system didn't notice me about 5/7 failing backups due to my external minio server had updates problems, so I had only 2 out of the last week left, which had been too old.
Looks like some of their migration scripts have that bug, so maybe there is also a chance that if you put the app in debug mode, manually edit that file, then run the start.sh within the app container to let it finish the database migrations. After that this script should not be run again so putting the app out of debug mode, theoretically should then work. I haven't tried that, since I don't have an instance where the issue is reproduced so far.
that worked. NC is online again.
thx very much
