I've a bare-metal dedicated server and my provider offer me 200GB of backup storage space.
Instead of mounting in /mnt/ my ftp remote directory, why not integrated the FTP in the backup place ?
Regarding https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6764 and this tutorial https://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/article.asp?ID=ME020559 : it could be great to add for every DAV server embeded app (Nxtcloud, SOGo, etc..) the registery of DNS DAV indication.
Regarding to :
There is a way to improve security (ciphers, like Content-Security-Policy in https headers by example).
Also, I've notice that each application have his own score which means that reverse-proxy configuration is not iso for each app ? Is it normal ?
I was thinking : why not implementing TOTP or Yubikey U2F for the auth on my.$domain.$tld ?
That's be more secured for admin user
Well, I'm waiting it !
Personnaly, even if there are encrypted, I would never use GDrive / OneDrive to makes Backup. I'll prefere use my FTP backup provide by my server provider, or technology like https://www.online.net/en/c14
There is also these solution with swift API
This software should be able to do this
@darkben-0 said in C14 storage for backups:
@girish could you add OVH Cloud Storage on Cloudron ? I asked them and data are stocked in France. We need a french backup solution for our clients. Do you think you can do that on the next(s) release(s) ?
Yeah, that would be very nice to have a solution for backup in France by OVH/Online which are really serious company.
I've mount temporary a minio.io server on an other server but the OVH backup solution is reliable, low cost and efficient.
