@doodlemania2 baserow's GUI/UI(?) is far more "professional" than noco's but the ram requirements and paywall drove me back to noco. My noco instance is running with 500mb ram limit and it hasn't crashed. We're 2 users and have +20 tables that use formulas and it hasn't crashed once. I also like the export feature (csv and xlsx) in noco. edit: btw, there's a firefox bug in Noco where the cell data gets deleted on a page refresh. It works fine in Brave. I opened a ticket here https://github.com/nocodb/nocodb/issues/4329

@Sam_uk If you suggest the changes upstream and they merge it, we can build a package out of the commit (instead of waiting for a release).

@ebecker1 there is no easy way to connect to the database from outside. However I am not sure at all if your approach here is correct. I would assume the app has better ways to import data besides tinkering with the underlying database as that seems quite the risky operation and might break the app itself.

@nebulon said in Support "standard" Cloudron login screen with LDAP creds?: the need for upstream LDAP support. Yup, understood. Just to let you know, LDAP has already been requested.

@nebulon said in Support "standard" Cloudron first-time usage?: I guess it still makes sense to explain that one needs to signup and that the first user becomes admin. Exactly. I mention it as (from memory) there was another app that required the user to register an account with an email address. Obviously it's not a high priority - I mentioned it for consistency.

@nebulon switched to chromium. It works. Back to firefox I've recognized the following: switch status green = no signup link, switch status grey = signup link. And after looking at the full description, it makes sense. Enabling the "Allow creating new accounts" signup restriction means: it is not allowed. It's a usability issue on my end. Sorry for the interruption
