@fbartels "Basic auth" is only what happens between the browser and the server. The server can verify a request that uses basic auth against any authentication back-end, including an LDAP server. I actually did something similar for the Transmission in my River app: as Transmission also uses basic-auth, the various mobile-apps & browser extension need it to work, so I had to accept it for them to work. This UI makes me wanna try to package a docker registry for cloudron... I'll have to dig deeper into how it works

@jdaviescoates certainly horses for courses but different beasts. We're working on replicating everything that Odoo does and more in WP & Woo but I started that epic challenge 4 years ago, and probably 20+ developers over the years,I'd say we're still only half-way there. The central strength of Odoo is the accounting, CRUD standards & pivot tables. Odoo Studio is pretty phenomenal but not open-source. Closest thing in WP-land is Advanced Customer Fields (ACF) but still it's been an epic challenge and we're still not done. If I had my time again, I'd probably go Odoo + WP/Woo - but just can't resist a challenge when the prize is the world having a Website, Ecommerce & ERP System all-in-one that's genuinely FOSS for everything. @girish well, they took the repository down pretty much immediately. And it seems they are now threatening to ban people who upload it again. But apparently GitHub CEO Nat Friedman has also been actively trying to help reinstate the repository. @atrilahiji Shame, I don't see a Woocommerce icon in their "Pre-built integrations coming soon" graphic. Bigcommerce is decent though but Woocommerce would be better.

Integromat is good for sharing workflows, so I guess something like that. Not looked at the app yet but always happy to share if we create something useful if it has a method for storage that can be easily shared. Did some nifty accounting automations with Google Vision for extracting text from scanned documents and storing all in Xero for search-ability. All these ETL apps tend to be as useful as their pre-built connectors, when you have to write them as well, it can be quicker to just use whatever app already has them, and with development we rarely get time to come back and refactor for the preferred app, despite the continual dream of having less apps that do more.
