@xarp said in Change request: Notifications in Cloudron 3.5.1:

Revisiting this thread after ~six years. This is still a concern. There needs to be a mute button.
The exact same email setup-PTR notification continues to come up daily, despite marking as read. It is a perpetual, never ending cycle of "email is not configured correctly".

Cloudron 9 already improved the notification settings, see (ℹ this screenshot was created of a preview version of Cloudron 9 and is subjected to change until release) =>

Adding E-Mail Server notifications like PTR record, Spam Listings and so on to this list would improve the users control of what the users want to be informed about.
But sending mails when the mail setup is not complete, chicken-and-egg problem.

Hi @James - Many thanks for this. The changes already looks great and promising.

May I make a suggestion ? I think, in this case, Freescout approach offers a greater granularity between email notification and in-app notification, with potential for further development based on the communication channel (Mobile if ever, API ? etc..), leaving the end admin users decide what works best for them

Here is the screen I am referring to in Freescout.

If it is not too late in the development of this, maybe it might be worth considering?
