I've been using AFFiNE on RunTipi for quite awhile now. It started with me just wanting to check it out, but not expecting at all that I'd l branch off from my well-established routine with Joplin and Vikunja, with a dab of Trilium Notes and Outline. Well, what do you know, it's now my second most used note and writing prep destination. SO, if it gets on Cloudron, I'd switch my instance to the Cloudron one (gettipi is more for trying out apps, for me).

@timconsidine Probably? Not sure. By and large, if it doesn't show up in my Cloudon App Store I don't install it (with the exception of some of your apps!).

@timconsidine Nope. That was before those existed. Is anyone using this package? If so I'll udpdate and set up CI/CD

It's now part of Cloudron official apps list, just appeared a few days ago.

What classifies this app as "unstable"? I don't understand why that label appears on the store if we're not going to outline what the risks or issues with the app are?

Also shouldn't this app, like other official packages get its own forum?

@umnz the package is unstable (and not the app itself) . unstable means we just packaged and released it . maybe we have to make some drastic changes to the package and break existing installations because we did something wrong.

I agree that it needs it's own category. cc @james

@Joseph ah, ok. That makes more sense. How long does it normally take before the package goes stable? I'm asking because there's simply no real reason to start using this app as a knowledge base if an update could destroy it irreversibly.

@umnz there is no timeline as such, I think it's just made stable when we have some user reports that it's working well.
